Europa’s a quality competition man, never really gotten the respect it deserves. Obviously it’s funny to banter clubs if you’re in CL and they’re in EL but most would love to win EL if they’re in the competition, those that don’t, don’t appreciate football enough in my opinion. I’d kill for us to win it this coming season.

I was there for it mate. Had just enough loyalty points on my membership at the time to qualify for a ticket. Was the first final I’d attended live too - and the only one I’ve seen us win so far

I am in total agreement with everyone here about taking Europa seriously and being jealous of Sevilla's success.
But I would also like for us to enjoy their remarkable good fortune, because looking at their last 3 matches they have had some luck!
Qtr final v Wolves saved penalty should have been retaken for encroachment how VAR missed it no one knows.
Semi Final lets be honest United battered them and should have won the game
Final - should have been reduced to 10 men after 5 minutes, and the same player creates the winner which was going miles wide before Lukaku helped them out further.
I don't think anyone can deny that they know how to win in Europe, but sometimes you need the gods to smile on you and they were definitely looking down with a massive grin on Sevilla in Germany.

The weird thing about Sevilla is they have managers who achieve while there, but as soon as they leave they don't do particularly well

I've always had a soft spot for Feyenoord ever since that magical May night in 1963 when we won the European Cup Winners Cup in their ground and I was there!
The local fans all seemed to support us too. Loved Holland, loved Rotterdam, loved the stadium, loved that fantastic night. Even the world class ref said we were the best British team he had ever seen! Those were the days..........

To be fair,she has just come home after spending nearly 3 months if various hospitals with breathing and heart problems. She's got running up and down stairs like a 21 year old...and you know I am not!!!!!! Unbelievable that she was a very fit sailor with the American Navy. Time can be cruel!
