Seeing talk on Twitter that Arsenal are interested in Zaha.

I hope it happens, it means yet another window where they likely neglect their backline and midfield baring in mind how much he’d likely cost.
"We spent all our money on a winger last season and our defence is ****ing ****. Time to buy another winger?"

Alexander Sorloth scored 31 goals in all competitions for Trabzonspor this season, on loan from Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace also scored 31 goals in all competitions this season.

I highly doubt this Zaha to Arsenal rumour has any credibility. We are stacked with wingers and Arteta's publicly admitted our midfield is the key problem area.

Midfield is way more important to sort out than defence.

Another winger will fix that, surely?

...sadly that seemed to be Gerry Francis' approach to management

Really think Brighton have done well to get Lallana-quality player and could succeed at a higher level given the opportunity which he didn't get in 3 years at 'Pool. 40 games in three years?
Another example of a player being promised the world and despite getting winning medals has barely played competitive football. (Except of course when he knocked out our U23 players )

Didn't he miss the best part of a couple of seasons through injury? Risky one.

He is a very talented footballer who has got a great deal for himself at Brighton. A good length contract and very good money. If he can stay fully fit, then I think he will be a major player for them.

You make it sound like he was wronged by LFC

He’s a sicknote and was kept out the team by better players, imo he’s lucky to have the medals considering the lack of contribution from him

He also got moved out of the side because of Klopp's change of team structure, IIRC.
He was competition and backup for Coutinho, primarily and they moved away from playing an attacking midfielder altogether.
He's not really a box-to-box player or a winger, so his opportunities were limited.

Bournemouth are considering some sort of legal action over the Hawkeye failure in the Villa v Sheffield Utd game that cost the Blades a goal.
I assume that they're going to give any money that they get to the bloke on the VAR in our match that didn't give the penalty for the push on Kane, then.
Michael Oliver will have enough money, being on the Pool payroll.

Ayew's goal made it look like he was playing for Barcelona and not just because of the kit colours! <laugh>

1. Ayew (for the footwork + dinky finish)

2. Son (for the end to end run) ***

3. Choose whichever from a set of literal belters (that more often
than not end up in row Z and not the back of the net) .

*** Still amazed that the Dyche-ballers did not poleaxe Son
(I doubt any perp bar tha last man would have got a red for their crime)
