The are reports going around that former Villa, Cardiff and Blackburn midfielder Peter Whittingham has died at the age of 35.
Some stuff prior to it about him falling down the stairs and being taken to hospital.
I hope it's bullshit, but it's sad news if it's true.

I've heard that he fell down the stairs at a pub, rather than at home, too. All in all, a rather inaccurate rumour.
Michael Chopra offering his condolences didn't help, either. He's deleted his previous message and put this up:

Has the PL actually "finished"? …..and will final positions (at this time of writing) count? Are the league people discussing anything yet?
 
Maybe the answer could be,pick up the season again in (?) June 'til the end. Have no end of season break (they are having it now!) and go straight into next season.....?
