That thread is nuts. Villa's financial position looks dubious, to say the least.

If they get relegated this season, they're in trouble. They've already 'sold' their stadium to their owners and FFP could be a real problem for them, even if their owners are hugely wealthy.

Personally, I'd like to see it. This kind of spending is madness and drives inflation for their fans as well as the clubs.

Perhaps the owners will get bored with owning a football club and demolish Villa Park and build a Mall.

Grealish on the market soon...…?

Strasbourg v PSG has been called off due to the coronavirus.
I wonder if we're going to get to that point over here?

Saltypool fans are getting liver on Twitter, claiming that VAR is against them

Probably was a foul for the Bournemouth goal but in the space of three minutes they got away with Milner pushing his hand into a player's face, Vergil coming through the back of a player and Alexander-Arnold shoving Smith into the barriers. Then Mane was cleanly tackled, fell over backwards into the tackler and was given a free kick. The standard of referreeing is appalling.

2nd yellow for that ridiculous dive aswell hoping for a Pen

but VAR was snoozing conveniently
In an ideal world i agree but refs hardly ever give yellows for that tbh.

The officials were absolutely ****e today for both teams

it’s silly that

VAR is all in or all out

selective VAR wtf

Not your fault tho...jus sayin
see this is one of the reasons why i was totally opposed to the introduction of VAR as
a) I knew it would be ****
b) despite a) they would keep increasing the things it would be used for until you might as well stay at home & play Football Manager .

So what do you guys think about the blatent pen not given to Burnley and not even looked at by var?

Ill wait<laugh>
