That cant be true mate, all jokes aside. You cant be happy with boureinhos football
I love going to matches...been going to spurs since 1981 and have followed us since I was 7 years old. I saw us under bloke in a coat, Christian Gross, Santini , Ramos and AVB...I saw us get relegated...and nearly relegated on several occassions...this is nothing in comparison tbh!

Beat me Colin. My first season I was 12.But my stepdad took me to a Spurs game when I was a toddler, let me go to the toilet by myself at the Park Lane end....and I got lost! God knows how I got home.....and Spurs were Div 2 then! The s.o.b. never did like me!!!!!
I stood on the shelf at the front my first season.I remember some nice Chelsea fan ladies feeding me while I watched!

I can remember standing on the corner of the Paxton Road end in the early 60's European Cup games in snow coming down. But it was body to body and you really didn't notice it!....and didn't care!
I'll always remember what the officials did to us away at Benfica...….. and the hand !!!!!!!! ball that wasn't v Liverpool!

This is prime Barcelona tiki-taka in comparison to anything Ramos (outside of semi and final), AVB and Gross served up.

Jose hasn’t been that bad either. He’s just not been as good as I’d expected but plenty of time to improve, especially once he gets his own players.

I don't think that he's going out to play boring football, at all. If anything, there's been too much emphasis on attacking, where we could do with being a bit more guarded in midfield and at the back, especially in away games.

Agreed. And the problem with playing so many attacking players with relatively little technical ability is that more often than not passes go astray, poor choices are made, and the ball comes straight back at us. The lack of a proper target man up front has only magnified this issue.

The one thing that I will always hold against Ramos

It was clear what AVB's tactics were, it's just he lacked the nous to implement them
It was clear what Santini's tactics were, it's just they made no sense whatsoever
It was clear what Gross' tactics were, it's just "hart verk" was the basis of his pre-match talk

At no point was I ever confident enough to say what Ramos' tactical plan was, other than the team should be made up of one goalkeeper and ten outfield players

Less 'push and run', more 'kick and rush'.

Having so little physical fight in the team doesn't help. if you have to play those tactics, a couple of physical bullies would help.

That's because, outside of big games, he never had one! - At least according to Ledley King.

When I was fortunate enough to get tickets for a guided tour of the old WHL with Ledley, there was a period where we sat in the press room and he spoke us through his career at Spurs. When he got to Ramos, he said the guy was absolutely phenomenal when going over gameplans on how to beat Arsenal and then Chelsea but games against 'weaker' opposition he genuinely had no particular plan for and just expected Spurs to win due to having superior individuals, which is often why we looked so bloody lost during his tenure. He also confirmed the rumours of the whole "no condiments diet" that Ramos put so many players on and apparently Tommy Huddlestone went through hell <laugh>.

My old dad took me to the benfica semi , I was nearly 5 , he got me to the front of the terrace in front of the main stand and stood me on a wooden box that he made so that it folded down ( still got it) and told me not to move until after the game and he would come and get me, post match was me stood outside a boozer with a bottle of pop and a packet of crisps , now it's known as child abuse , them days it was the norm , did I do it with my son ? No chance the Mrs would knee cap me , did it do me any harm ? Still love Spurs and crisps and pubs . COYS
