Yep. We see it with foreign clubs the whole time. PL club on the phone? Slap an arbitrary £20m surcharge on whatever fee we'd in reality be more than happy to accept from almost any other team in any other league in the world.

Realistically, is there any reason why Palace shouldn't respond in kind and start publicly courting Iwobi? I mean it's not as if the clubs are that far apart in status these days...
