The other thing is to honour your club's identity and understand what's worked and what hasn't.
Swansea did this very well for years, as they were forced to change managers repeatedly, but kept moving forward.
They brought in coaches with similar styles and kept disruption to a minimum, as wholesale squad changes were unnecessary.

Moyes was nothing like Ferguson, apart from being Scottish.
He was a poor choice in general, but the squad that he inherited weren't right for his style of play and it showed.
Van Gaal and Mourinho tried to make lots of changes, but the fans didn't take to them and the squad became a mishmash.
There was no coherent vision of what Man Utd are, were or want to be.
The thing is to honor your club's identity...the thing is to honor your club...the thing is honor...

Pochettino has been notable for just plain behaving better than most. He doesn't trash anybody. He's always diplomatic, even courteous. He always supports players if they support him.

Yet he also doesn't quail at making decisions people won't like if he thinks they're justified.

It's a formula many would be well advised to try to apply.

I could use Southampton beating Arsenal as a negative to your points PNP. Even though they beat teams from the lower half they were there themselves so it's a good effort regardless.

I might suggest that you have come to wrong the place if you are looking for people who will offer any praise to the spammers no matter what they do

So, Chelsea scored by a huge deflection late on in the game which means we have a damned good chance of getting to the final because we are on form and they're relying on luck.

Again the spadework was done without Kane up front and for me £200,mill and he can go. I also think that if Poch wins a trophy he'll stay.

And within a minute of him coming we were 2 up and in control, and he helped provide that control, its good that we can play well without Harry, but sell him you are having a laugh

No, I'm not doing that, I'm just bringing attention to what Pellegrini's doing with them and IF Poch leaves I think we should consider him.

Do you mean there's no speculation as to whether he'll go or not?

There will always be speculation about our best players leaving - the media like that to be the case, but your post made no mention of speculation you just said that ' for me £200,mill and he can go' which suggested to me that you would happy to see him leave.

Waiting for the Wolves v Liverpool game and they just want to talk about the ex Manchester Moron. Give us a break for heavens sake!

Roy Keane shooting off his mouth saying Man Utd's players should be ashamed for downing tools to hasten Steptonho's exit

Obviously he's still sore about Sunderland's players doing the same thing when he was in charge of them...
And he's forgotten that he did the same thing and more to Mick McCarthy.

Chopper Keane....brings back memories.....chopper Harris of Chelsea.....Peter Storey.leader of the Arsenal 1970-1 criminals!
Blimey.Makes Nobby Stiles out to be an angel in comparison. At least Nobby couldn't see!!!!!! ….and I haven't even mentioned Leeds!
