It's bizarre to hear a supporter of a team who are below us and have won less games (whilst scoring a massive 2 more goals) think we park the bus and their team play some kind of great football <laugh>

Really, watch some games other teams play in and stop reading :emoticon-0100-smile
What a wonderful non-answer. I've watched you play a lot this season and you're very dull.
The fact that you can't divorce how successful a team is from their style of play suggests that you haven't watched much yourself.

League position says nothing about how entertaining a side is.
You don't actually appear to have a response, other than pointing to the table and saying nuh-uh.
Maybe if you could stay awake for a full game then you'd have an opinion on the matter?

Boo hoo, yeah let's get them in the semi, who have Spurs ever played in the semi-final of Europe's premier competition?
Exactly, so dry the tears and understand that even if we do get through and draw Barca we've got a record in the competition that Spurs can't and will never match.:emoticon-0100-smile

There was life before the Premier League and Spurs were the first English team to win a European Trophy ever. I should know as I was there in Rotterdam for the final which we won 5 - 1. You will never match that record.

"Holmes pinched his furrowed brow and watched the morning traffic amble by. 'I think dear Watson', he began, 'I think we can deduce that someone on this board is called Simon'..."

Yes we did reach the semi final of Europe's premiere competition and if VAR had been around then we would have reached the final.

After that attacking masterclass in the first half, and the sublime defending in the second, I think Liverpool will beat anyone and win the CL, to be honest. Jordan Henderson to lift the trophy. <ok>

I think Barca's defence wouldn't make them mistakes in a game. 1st goal was a Walker error, the 3rd goal, Mane out jumped their CB's. City's attack hides their defensive frailties for me. They looked clueless in attack...The wingers didn't turn up and that left the playmakers a bit clueless....lacked a bit of a focal point upfront. Taking nothing away from Pool..they blitzed City.

It's a shame the league is over or we could have witnessed a meltdown from City in the run in.

Just so we're clear, the 2004 Greece team are just as well known for attacking football as the 1988 Dutch team as they have the exact same number of European Championship trophies.

Except even a Greek wouldn't say something so monumentally wrong and not expect punted down a well for it

Funny how, for a set of fans who bang on about their club's history, they're remarkably ignorant about anyone else's...

It's why I posted a link to the match report, to help them educated themselves. It's the Socialist Tory in me, help people to help themselves.

When I was 3 I thought the world revolved around me, I was wrong......

1-0 to Klopp.

He took that 4-3 PL game, and tried to work
out how to repeat the 4 without doing likewise
on the 3.

Pep thought it would just be a replay of that game.

The M.E.N gave ratings to the City players from last night's game.
They scored them a combined 39/110 and de Bruyne and Silva scored 12 of those points!
Laporte and Gunga Din got one each.
Brutal :emoticon-0142-happy

Benfica....and screwed by the ref! But we did win the ECWC the next season by bashing Atletico Madrid 5-1. The first British team to win a European competition!
Couldn't win it the following season as our star player had his leg broken at Man United.
