Still, Liverpool haven’t played anyone decent in the CL as of yet, so this is no surprise.... <whistle>

This is now a win win as far as I am concerned.
Liverpool do not go through and it is bottle job heaven
City don't go through and it makes a mockery of the genius manager...£450m to get to the 1/4 finals of the CL
<laugh>

I was just thinking the same thing.
I hope it’s the former. It would be ****ing hilarious!

Why does the ref look really familiar?
Felix Brych. One of the top German refs and he's been around for quite a while.
He was in charge of our game in Turin. Did the final last season, too. Seems to get a lot of English teams, for some reason.

3-0 FT

I'm happy with that result. Would love Pool to progress as it'll add more fixtures to their season and they'll be taken apart by the more savvy teams in the competition. Can you see them beating Bayern? Me neither.

Fraudiola once again shown up as an extremely limited tactician who only has one style of play and if it goes to plan hoorah but if it doesn't they look no better than we did under AVB.

And Raheem Sterling is such a limited footballer. He has effectively built a top-level career feeding off the scraps of his superiors.

You’d have thought that at some point city would have had a shot from distance when trying to walk it into goal wasn’t working. Jesus and Sane marked out of the game for 90 minutes, yet still they kept feeding it out wide to Sane who looked to play it into Jesus everytime but couldn’t. So predictable.
Pep had no plan B, despite all that money accomplishing that squad. Embarrassing.
