Funny how the hacks are now saying Los Ladrones are one of the very best, yet a few months ago during the group stages they were adamant they weren't particularly good.

Gee, I wonder if there's some form of bias informing their drivel?

Their two matches against Spurs knocked the
stuffing out of both of them. Madrid have
obviously had far longer to recover than
Juventus. < unfair advantage >

They've looked very good in the 3 matches since the groups. Looks like they finally mean business and with La Liga gone they'll focus all their efforts on joining Ajax and Bayern in the microscopically small club of teams who have won the competition 3 years in a row.

See my
Pool fans celebrate their participation in the quarter finals by throwing bottles and pebbles at the City team bus. Shame there were no bricks to hand or they'd have taken the tyres too.
See my sentiments on the Euro thread..... Feckin' hope the Mousers get routed!! <grr>

The scenes were disgraceful.

As regards to the BT coverage of the game, I wasn't overly impressed to see Steve McManaman break off from a pitch side interview to applaud the Pool squad coming out for their pre-match warm up. And while I'm at it, I'm getting pretty peeed off with TV pausing on their pre match build up to make us watch and listen to the Pool fans singing You'll Never Walk Alone.
