That's two really, really poor tackles in one.
I can understand it and don't really have any sympathy for Ayew, but a red for one and nothing for the other seems a bit wrong.

So, Liverpool have gone to United and lost. Gone to Citeh and been battered. Come to Wembley and also been battered. Like us, they have yet to go to Chelsea and got a draw at Arsenal. Whooopee, one point.

So, no better or worse than us, other than we got our against a direct rival and not someone who'll not finish a long way behind the rest. Chances of them getting a battering in the media for performing the same as in away games against the other 5? I'd say zero percent.

Exactly!

The media narrative is that only Spurs bottle things.

'Pool get "unlucky" or "have a bad day at the office," or some other such load of bollocks.

If we don't win tomorrow, 'Pool's failure today will be eclipsed by ours.

Even if we win, neither our players nor Poch will be given the proper credit for moving into third spot.

"Sack the board"
West Ham 0-2 Burnley

It would appear a few home fans came to blows in the stands after that second goal. All is not well at West Ham. A sentence you could copy and paste to use again and again in recent seasons.

"Sack the board," the home fans sing.

Pablo Zabaleta has touched the ball 18 times. The cynic in me thinks some of these fans who have made it onto the pitch have seen more of the ball.

Sean Dyche is stood in his technical area. He couldn't care a jot.

His side are going to be just two points behind Arsenal.

Mind that gap, eh!

Great result for Swansea. Down to 10 for 75 minutes. They were really well organised defensively and the FAC tie will be tough!

I can understand it and don't really have any sympathy for Ayew, but a red for one and nothing for the other seems a bit wrong.

Hogg gets to the ball first and his foot is moving in a downward motion. It only ends up being a 'stamp' because Ayew is so wildly out of control and moving much faster than Hogg could've anticipated. Ayew on the other hand gets nowhere near the ball and connects with Hogg's standing leg. On a wetter surface with a bit more zip and less stability, that could be a season-ender.

Oliver is usually a total plank but on this occasion I think he's made the right call.
