Their positioning’s been outstanding. Liverpool are struggling to play their intricate game. And united are winning the ball back in central areas when it matters. Again, comical defending. Mata in acres of space
Seems rather unlikely at the moment, but you never know. Does Klopp have anything up his sleeve? Utd looking more like extending their lead, at the moment. Rashford getting a 2nd yellow would seem like the only way back for the Scouse right now.
Klopp will change something, he has to. Salah hasn’t been at the races. In fact, none of their front 3 have. If palace can score 2 against United, Liverpool can. It’s far from over. It baffles me how we could potentially be 7 points behind united after this. IMO they are the worst side in the top 5, but they just grind out results. We’re running out of games and have some difficult ones ourselves, so our have to wonder whether we’ll catch them. Really need Liverpool to sort themselves out second half.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43342943 Disappointing but understandable. The rule changes a while ago really screwed a lot of teams.
I'm all for a United win. They started 4 points ahead of us. The mousers were only 2. I'd take 3rd place very happily and am not too bothered by 2nd. If Liverpool are still not assured of Top 4 on matchday 37, they have Chelsea away. That could be a key fixture for us as well as them. United have to play Citeh and Arsenal. Great if they lose but....
Whilst I’d take 3rd, I don’t want 2nd to feel out of our grasp. IMO it’s best to have as many options open as possible. Don’t forget we still have city at home and Chelsea away. Both could well be defeats. Therefore, as many points out rivals can drop, the better. Especially against one another.
And that’s Bailly’s last contribution. Bravo sir, Bravo. Edit: Bailly stays on. Just needed to sulk for a bit after his incredible own goal.
6 minutes of injury time! You could literally hear individuals in the crowd saying “6??!!!” The irony.
So, Liverpool have gone to United and lost. Gone to Citeh and been battered. Come to Wembley and also been battered. Like us, they have yet to go to Chelsea and got a draw at Arsenal. Whooopee, one point. So, no better or worse than us, other than we got our point against a direct rival and not someone who'll not finish a long way behind the rest. Chances of them getting a battering in the media for performing the same as us in away games against the other 5? I'd say zero percent.
Expect a massive outpouring of media grief after that, Pool should of had a pen.... United should of had a man sent off..... it wasn`t Pool`s fault etc etc... you know the drill.
Come on, pundits, let's hear how Liverpool bottled it ...and if you have time, why not say that they need to win a trophy to keep their best players?
Liverpool can't defend. We all knew that. Even Mourinho. Play a leading side away and they will concede. No its or buts. Rashford v Alexander Armstrong was a mismatch.
We know you're biased in favour of the Spammers, BBC, but forecasting their taking the lead??? Think you'll find its West Brom
