It was on bt sports straight after we lost to city. Listening to players like Graham Roberts, Hoddle, Perryman, Ossie, Villa, Jennings, Chivers talking about the fans making WHL home was great. It brought back so many childhood memories of a place that gave me my happiest times as a teen.
Shame our DoF doesn't understand what we as fans are worth.

And now Wenger's joining in.Mourinho will be on about them next and looking for another 300 million to waste
And now Wenger's joining in.
It does seem to happen a lot, but Swansea have got Watford on Saturday. How many new PL managers have had Spurs as
opposition in their first PL game ??

FixedHoly crap. That's far too much money for a centre half.
Fixed
everytime i've seen him since the injury he has looked like he will fit right in with our defenceHe'd better be at that price.
Has he been any good since the injury? Rose is 2-3 months back into playing and is still........well.............somewhat limited, to put it kindly.
everytime i've seen him since the injury he has looked like he will fit right in with our defence
As i pointed out on our board when whinging about the price there are 2 possible explanations
a) he is still restricted by his injury
b) he aint even trying for Southampton
both of which are big worries for me.
Obviously if we now suddenly find ourselves with a solid defence great (until Man City , Barca etc come calling) but i have always argued that our defensive problems are at least as much structural as due to individual errors so upgrading the players will only go so far.
ah well at least we are fun to watch under Klopp if ****ing frustrating for us fans .He reminds me of David Luiz. A very good footballer but not a great or natural defender. Some managers might coach that out of him but Klopp's not that coach.
Oh well,
"Next....."
Not quite Pedro Mendes level, but still...

That was in the 5th minute of a game that ended 0-0. Ouch.
True. Dropping points in a derby game would be slightly more painful, though.Pedro's was about a mile further across the line, give or take a parasang.
