I don't care for Scousers, Everton and especially Moshiri.........so, deflating their financial doping scheme is very enjoyable....plus I'm at home with my youngest, who has the lurgy, I'm recovering from surgery and I'm bored.
Get well soon mate a spurs win over the weekend will do you the world of good.I'm waiting on an operation which they have cancelled 3 times already but my pre op is due 22nd of December so god knows when the op will be<laugh>

Don't agree with this. If his injury issues get sorted I would love to see Bale back. Indeed he is the superstar that would elevate our team to potential winners of the EPL.
Bale returning would give a massive boost to the team and the fans...even our DoF might approve <whistle>

What is lurgy? Are you screwing the language up again Brian........and put that bloody bottle down!!!!!?
The lurgy was a disease the Telegoons caught in the sixties bigsmithy9. It was the goons(Secombe, Milligan, Sellers and Bentine) as puppets and the dreaded lurgi had you suspended in mid air bouncing horizontally up and down. So there. Thereafter the term was used for any illness, flu, virus etc etc.

A few years back my mother-in-law needed a reasonably urgent operation in KCH. She was asked if she was okay with having the operation on Christmas Day? They told her that the theatre was empty of NHS patients, nobody on the unit was a practising Christian, and it was being done privately [possibly double bubble for all concerned as well?]. Now that's one of the many rewards of diversity. All went fine, we just had to spend the early evening visiting but as we had young kids it was a pretty sober Christmas anyway.

Hope yours goes fine. I'm sure it will.
