It's looking like their plan for bringing in a new manager consisted of thinking Watford would let Marco Silva go without a fight, which happens to sound remarkably similar in approach and in result as their neighbours' plan for bringing in a centre back during the summer.
Arsenal lost and it's hardly raised a ripple on here, as it's Europa I have nothing to say.

"(On search for a manager) That's down to the board, it's their decision. Since David Unsworth has come in there's been a great atmosphere among the players and some positive results. The board have a decision to make and I'm sure they're working on it."

One for each goal conceded to the 12th place Serie A team, without an away win this season. They made them look like a cross between the 70's Dutch team and the Real Madrid team that owned the European Cup in the late 50's.

In August Everton were being heralded as having the best transfer window of all but the Manchester clubs.
Every pundit raved about Rooney coming home and they all ignored the fact that both Spurs (2013) and Liverpool (2014) crashed and burned having spent £100m and £120m respectively on 6 or 7 new players.
Everton spent over £150m excluding the colossal expenditure on Rooney yet not one "expert" suggested they'd struggle.
To spend that amount to produce the worst Everton team in around 20 yrs is a special kind of incompetence only made worse by sacking a manager and not replacing them a month later!
They should be very concerned at the embarrassing attendance today...people are not turning up cos the football is so poor.

Have to hold my hands up and admit I was one of them. Thought Everton would be the surprise package this season. Don't think I've ever been so wrong about something football-related in my life (other than perhaps telling everyone on the playground that Rebrov would score 30 goals a season). They are in absolute freefall. Don't think we've seen such a fall from grace since Leeds imploded under O'Leary and his rather large chequebook and even larger ego.
I was wondering why there were more Italian fans than Everton fans......seemingly! All those empty seats......never thought I'd see that at Goodison Park of all places.

Moysie has his own problems at West Ham. Rafa isn't right for Newcastle so they should approach him.
