Has it come to the point where the Spanners
insist all their opponents wear white shirts and
navy blue shorts in order to get a performance ??

Wasn't the fact that Chrissy is a beloved
ex-Spur motivation enough ??

Been ripped a new one by Brighton.
Didn't see that one coming.
The three promoted sides plus Burnley & Watford in the top 13.
I did, great start to the 'Spurs all teams prediction league' for a change. Lets hope I get the Chelsea, Citeh, l'arse and Spurs predictions spot on as well. No one would begrudge me 15 points if all of those come in.

I don't know why people don't rate Brighton, Chris Hughton has them very well organised, thy are very difficult to score against, there defense is reminiscent of the man in the raincoats gooner defense, all in a line, one arm in the air appealing for offside. Their keeper Ryan is possibly the third best in the prem behind Hugo and DeGea, and arguably the best in the Prem at distribution, some of his long clearances are Hoddlesque, if that Gen Murray would stay on side more often, Brighton would double their goal tally. Jannsen is a fool not going to Brighton, He'd have one on one two or three times in every match playing with that keeper, if he scored 50% of them he'd be up there with Kane and Lukaku on goals scored.

There are other excellent players as well, Knockhart is like Nacer Chadli on speed, local Eastbourne boy Solly March would be playing for one of the Mancs if he changed his name to Sulliman Marchez and the defender Bruno has been around La Liga since the year dot. Good percentage player. It's no surprise to me that they are doing well.

An interesting match today is Chelsea v Watford. Although the latter can count themselves fortunate to be awarded a penalty last week they still scored a winner and kept Arsenal out so Chelsea might not find it too easy today. Also Burnley's away form is good and it will be interesting to see how many City score, they might be pegged back a bit today.

Have to say this appears to be a trend with Chris's teams because he did the same with Norwich before falling back.

Do we see Watford's or Burnley's manager taking over at Everton soon?

If I was in charge at Everton, I'd be set on Marco Silva. He seems to be able to do everything that you'd want a manager to do.

He got Hull organised and made the best of what he had. He got them motivated and at home they were fearsome. He bought in players that other clubs had given up on, like Markovic from Liverpool and Niasse from Everton and he got performances from them all. He picked up relatively unknowns for pennies and fashioned a team out of them.

He's gone to Watford and with someone else's pick of players, he's doing the same. He's great in interviews. His English is impeccable and he talks sense. When he left Hull, he was so respectful of the club and the fans. I really like the bloke and I find most football managers detestable.

If Mauricio Pochettino stepped under a bus, this is the bloke to take us on. If Everton pick anyone else, they're mental.

Agree 100%. Unfortunately for Watford he won't be there long, I wouldn't be surprised if Silva was in charge of the chavs this side of Christmas.
