I did see Pat Jennings score v Man U from his goalkick.I didn't see a later Spurs goalie score from about the same spot........
 
The Gutter Press are reporting that Arsenal have failed in their bid to get The Ox to extend his contract, despite an offer of £180k per week.

£180k per week for him! **** me!.......and he said "No". Arsenal are ****ed but football's ruined.

I want everyone on their squad still pending, to sign new
contracts on much higher wages than they currently get.

They are in EL season 1, with more to possibly follow.
Anything that drains their cash and cannot be recovered via
UEFA land is all good to us.
 
Lots of useful air-miles for Arsenal fans to clock up this season (1400 to Belarus, 1300 to Serbia). They say Minsk is just charming in mid-winter. Oh, and I hear that the Red Star fans are simply delightfully nice people. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Charlie Adam has extended his contract with Stoke by a year. The ****.
Why can't he **** off to a league where he can't do any more damage? Australia, perhaps?

Adam wouldn't be able to keep up with the Mexicans.I watched some of their league games and they run about like greyhounds!
 
Onomah's playing for Villa on Sky. They're not having a good time of it so far with Bristol City running all over them. I always liked Bruce but he's had a poor start with a really strong squad.
 
Fineshed 1-1. Replays showed that Onomah's goal took a big deflection. Might even go down by as an own goal if some jobsworth at the FA has their say.

Much better second half from him but I don't like his positioning. He needs to look for the ball more in the middle and offer for simple passes, at the moment he only seems to want the ball on his terms, high up the pitch. Took a few poor touches and passes too but overall looked bright and did a decent impression of a Dembele performance in winning the ball back and driving forward.
