2-0 HT. Goals from Keane and Gueye.
Really think we missed a trick by not signing Lookman when we were linked with him.
I think he'd have suited us well as a pacy option out wide.
I await the inevitable UEFA fine.
And they'll ignore me elbowing someone in the face. Sounds about right.Yeah, but that will be because the shirt you are
currently wearing has a brand logo on it that
upsets a major UEFA sponsor.
One to avoid when dropping down from the CL in DecemberBloody hell, Milan looked frightening this evening...
Yeah, you watch out for that. One to avoid when dropping down from the CL in December![]()

As things stand, we may avoid Ajax and Besiktas...One to avoid when dropping down from the CL in December![]()
If it's a choice between 3rd and 4th this year, I think you know which one Mourinho will take.Yeah, you watch out for that.![]()
For the exact same reason: qualifying for the Champions League. Why did Man U pull out all the stops to win the EL pot while we used the tournament as a reserve outing?
p.s. The Celtic manager over the moon after their win.I think my old Sunday League team would have beaten those visitors too!
It's not the £22mill they are supposedly offering but the wage of possibly £130,000 pw.I'm more flummoxed by Man City fluttering their chequebook at West Brom for Jonny Evans. I mean we all know Stones and Otamendi have a competition between them to see who can look less like a Top 4-quality centre back, but still...
Funny how nobody seems to be mentioning how City were lumbered with Roque Santa Cruz on their wage bill until his contract expired as nobody was willing to pay his grossly inflated wages when discussing this story...It's not the £22mill they are supposedly offering but the wage of possibly £130,000 pw.
Danny-is he worth it?
For the exact same reason: qualifying for the Champions League.
Harry and Poch both saw the tournament as a hindrance to the team's league form and (as a result) a barrier to qualifying for the CL, so just like the League Cup they ditched the tournament as soon as they could.
Moronho saw the tournament as the only way he could get Man Utd into the Champions League and, as a result, remain employed by one of the few teams left that can help him realise his managerial ambitions by having a bottomless pit of money and a complete lack of shame.

It does help when they're utter, utter **** though, doesn't it?You can only beat the teams in front of you
Great for building confidence. It does help when they're utter, utter **** though, doesn't it?
West Ham with injuries and Swansea when their best player just left and they haven't had a chance to buy anyone.
It's still two 4-0 wins to start off the season, though. Can't knock that.
