The Man Utd thing is rather harsh on them, as it happens.
The players were posing for a Manchester - A City United photo and the officials didn't want to wait.
The fine's ok, but a ban is a bit too much, in my opinion. A little commonsense wouldn't go amiss.

Carrick is 36 and will be no more than a squad player.
The signing of Matic is to enable Pogba to play further forward.
Fellaini has been played in various roles.
Matic and Herrera will be first choice for the two central midfield places in front of the back four. Herrera played very well in this position last season.
Scheiderlin won't be considered for selection on account of him playing for another club.

So Pogba will play further forward and will compete with : Mata and Mkhitryan; for the one central place behind Lukaku while Martial; Young ; Rashford; Lingard; will compete for the wide areas..

Since he's so interested in killing elephants, there's a big white one in Stratford he should give both barrels

...although if he's busy, the much smaller white one by East Croydon station could also do with a headshot.
