I've signed Andre Silva on one of my previous FM saves, if he's anything like the game version, Milan have just inherited one hell of a striker.

Everton have agreed a £30m deal with Sunderland for Jordan Pickford.

He's a very promising player but that's a fortune for a GK. He'll become the most expensive GK in PL history if the deal goes through, having completed just a single PL season.

Utter madness.

They've agreed £30m a week after bidding £8m ? <yikes>

It looks like Derek McInnes is going to take over at Sunderland, as they've agreed compensation with Aberdeen.
He's done well at Aberdeen, I guess. Probably not the most inspiring move ever, though.

Agreeing a deal with loads of add-on's with Sunderland is a pretty good idea. Their owner wants out, they've just been relegated, the only good players they had are leaving and their new manager is ajudged to be a bit ****.

Agree to huge additional payments in 5 years time, by when they'll be begging to sell them for £1m and Tommy Forecast. 'The Double Levy' as it's known in the trade.

Leicester set to sign Maguire for a reported £12m plus £5m in add-ons. Decent signing for them and at a reasonable price.

They definitely need some fresh legs at the back and he can cover two positions that they need to strengthen.
Seems like a very sensible signing.

Lots of talk circulating of Wenger (and Arsenals) interest in Mbappe & Lemar at Monaco and Lacazette at Lyon - but do they really have a realistic shot at that level of young player?
Cash-rich we are always told, so transfer fees and wages not a problem, but no CL to offer and I wouldn't imagine the most attractive proposition for top young talent.
Money talks, but personally think their aspirations this year may outdo their capabilities......
