To my eyes, he's not good enough now and I've never seen enough from him to think that he was going to command a place there. Him, Walcott, Gabriel. Monreal, Cockerlin, Gibbs, Ozil and others aren't good enough but keep getting picked season after season. I don't see a change of manager makes those players appreciably better at this point of their careers.

I said a while ago that the likes of Walcott, Gibbs, Wilshere and AOC are all guilty of relying on having "potential" even though, at this point in their careers, they should be delivering on a consistent basis.
