If Sandro is not ready to return, then Sherwood missed an opportunity to give Capoue a run-out.
Or does he believe Bentaleb will go worldy against the Citeh MF ??

Welbeck not getting a penalty?
It's always amazed me that those are never given. Dangerous late challenges in the area never get punished in any way. Exactly the same thing happened in the Arsenal Fulham match where Koscielny poleaxed Bent just after he shot.

Any player with the remotest knowledge of the beautiful game, would not turn down the Academy of
Hoof to go and slug it out in the dirge Everton play.

Ferguson was there again today, his shadow looming large over David Moyes:

Apparently that's Mick Hucknall on the right and not some random homeless man with some new clothes from a shelter.

Simply Red...bloody hell!

I was looking at the pic wondering who it was, thought it was Moyes dad being given the news his son's ****e!

Looks like David Gold wearing a syrup, perhaps Fergie will replace Allarshite

I pondered weeks ago whether the Fergie factor was worth about 15 pts.
The current gap to Citeh is 13 pts.

They have had RVP and Rooney out for a bit at various times, but Citeh also
had stop-start weekly progress in the first third of the season.

Wasn't worth 15 points for half a season. They'll be a lot further behind City at the end of the season.

The Man Utd squad has been found wanting.
Fergie being a bit more fortunate with injuries + his sheer iron will is the difference between
last season and this it seems.

Scholes is gone, Giggs is another year older, Ferdinand's shot and van Persie has returned to his usual injury-plagued self.
Rooney's disinterested, Evra's being ripped apart by anyone with pace, Rafael's either injured or out of position and the various others aren't good enough.

I think Vidic deserved the red because his "slide tackle" was a day late after the ball had gone by.He's a typical United dirt box.Serves him right!

The interesting thing is how quickly a slide can come, and for how long it will last.
When you looked at the Poool from 1991 onwards, for a few yrs you did feel twas a temporary
glitch and normal service at the Empire would soon be resumed. But 20 yrs on, and "next year
is our year" .

If you slip from the CL piggy trough now, there is no guarantee you'll get your snout
back in the following season.

When fergie arrived Man Utd, they hadn't won the league title since 1966 - 7 and next league title coming in 1992 - 3.

That's what pisses me off about bookies, the odds are always loaded. It makes me mad listening to the bookies on Talk5hite. Invariably, they are Irish.

"Da odds for Liverpool v Villa are: Terteen ta fifteen for a 'Pool win, tree ta one for da Villa ta win, and foive ta one for da draw."

Whereas, the odds should be:-

'Pool win: Evens (at best)
Villa win: 10/1
Draw: 16/1

The bookie on Talksport is Paddy Power, HIAG. Shocking that they get an Irish bloke on for that, eh? <laugh>

Yes, that's Paddy; but there's also another bookie who has an even more outrageous accent than him, and it's not Paddy Power, and you wouldn't suppose on it being an Irish bookies, not from the name. It's something like Seamus Patrick O'Malley.

That's what pisses me off about bookies, the odds are always loaded.

They are not loaded in the way you imply, they are loaded based on the bets they receive, it is a mathematical calculation. If you don't like the odds, blame the mug punters. England are always ludicrously short odds to win WC/EC simply because of the volume of bets received. If we did a Denmark/Greece and won against all odds, then they'd be ruined at a sensible quotation - what 50/1 - 100/1?
