It's just so lucky when you get undeserved penalties which change the entire outlook of a game. Oh.....

Lucky is when a dumbass ref thinks ball to hand (via a knee) from 3 feet is a pen...cheating is when a player dives to con a ref...
cheeky is when his manager claims it was a definite penalty and having a pair of huge bollocks is a manager claiming that in fact it was his team that were harshly treated by the ref <laugh>

I'm happy to see that you're all keeping the faith about Chelsea. Has there ever been a luckier team over so long a period of time? Take away their luck and they'd be mid table and they'd have lost today.

DL, who generally for a rival fan I always think is a sensible poster on this board, said that our penalty decisions this season were far worse decisions than theirs! He must be having a laugh as that was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen. I would be absolutely fuming if I was a west Brom fan to basically be cheated out of 3 points today.

Just read the rest of this thread!
YV - I know what you are saying and I'm sure it's with a pinch of salt but I don't what Spurs to cheat to win penalties.
I used to not like Mourinho, but respect him, but now he is turning into an arrogant prick. I would rather Arsenal won the league than them. I couldn't bear seeing his smug face if they did.

I have always liked Mourinho FOR his arrogance and confidence, what you are seeing now is a scared Mourinho who knows he cannot win the league with the team he has.

Just finished watching MOTD.

Listening to Shearer talk about Chelsea's problems in front of goal could have been speaking about Spurs: lack of movement into the box, sideways passing between front players.

And why did Hull not sit back against Soton like they did against us?

Because of the name, Play a big name, try not to lose, play a small name think you have a chance. Bruce should know better.

I like Hernandez but he is not the answer. Getting one of Lennon, Lamela or Townsend to click on this left and holtby and ce to be effective in the middle is what we need.

If anything we need a worker up front like Torres, Suarez, Aguero or Tevez not a poacher.

"And why did Hull not sit back against Soton like they did against us?"

Because they believed the tactic would not work against them as it does against us ??

I posted when Pellegrini was first appointed the City job that looking at his record he doesn't stay long at his teams................I think that that's set to continue.

He's been appointed to make sure they play attacking football and do well in CL. The football is fairly lethal at times and you can't attack him for being outclassed by Munich.

Once they sort out their away form they should run away with the league, unless Chelsea get their act together.
