Disagree. Can Palace or Sunderland really beat any of the top 7. I think it's competitive at the top but not at the bottom.

It was an exaggeration, of course I know you're not saying that the leagues in Croatia, Belgium, etc are better
The top sides aren't as strong in Europe but that's about it. I think the Premier League across the board is about as strong as ever.
A few years back anyway.Zagreb lost 1-7 to Lyon didn't they?A few years back anyway.
Most obvious fix ever, though.

You're saying it wasn't just a coincidence Lyon needed a 6 goal swing and got it via dodgy goalkeeping?![]()

Arsenal fans were raving about Ozil's goal and assist record at Real yet Bale's 3 goals and 4 assists in 6 games despite being played out of position and playing through injury. Someday the doubters will accept that he's one of the best in the World.
I think we were all in agreement that he was too big for your club, actually.
Well done Caulker![]()

Great post match comments too. Lots of contrition shown towards Swansea![]()

In comparison to most other leagues across Europe? No
When did this u-turn occur? after weeks of trying to convince us (better known as wumming!) the Bundesliga and La Liga are better....is it a coincidence that its since the manager of the club you support laughed at the very suggestion in interview the other week.
Err...never mind all that **** DL trying to side-step what I said, Bundesliga, the league you maintained was soooo much better than the PL, if you weren't wumming....admit you were wrong.

I'm not Wumming. The Premier League is my favourite league but I find it incredible many are refusing to accept the dip in quality over the last few years. Especially given how our teams have performed in Europe (Chelsea are an anomaly).
10 games in and:
Sunderland and Palace are all but relegated
Hull have clean sheets in 4 games and Cardiff in three
Chelsea win just one away game and sit 2nd in the table.
Spurs have just 9 goals and sit 4th in the table.
Not one Premier League team in the top 10 based on points accumulated so far.
Wouldn't happen if Premier League sides were any decent.
How the hell does any of that indicate quality or a lack thereof?
Team does well? Poor league. Team does badly? Poor league. Teams score? Poor league. Teams keep clean sheets? Poor league.
That makes no ****ing sense.
