Chelsea back to 2nd, for now at least anyway. Arsenal definite title contenders given the quality of the Premier League. Chelsea have six very winnable games coming up so it'll be interesting to see if we can crank up the pressure on Arsenal. Imagine Arsenal 01-04 or Chelsea 04-06 in this league though. They'd blitz this league and break points records. 10 games in and it's still as unpredictable as it was on August. No great teams in this league so the title could go anywhere. Sadly it's safe to say Palace and Sunderland are goners. Hopefully QPR and Leicester come up.
So you might not be committed in your next six winnable matches who knows. It's damned hard to see any team winning six on the trot at the moment.
So just to be clear... Because I think you've only typed it 4000 times today in every single post you write and I'd like clarification... This is a weak league yeh??
Utd suddenly 3 points behind second place and with a chance next week to bring Arsenal down a peg or two. Things don't seem quite so bad after all
Nah, we are a mid table team in serious decline. The fact we are only 2 points off title favourits City and 3 points off second favourits Chelsea is just papering over the cracks!
Yep. ****ing false position. They'll be swapping places with United and find their REAL place within weeks...
Don't bother he's been banging on about it for ages. Apparently we're in one of the weakest leagues in Europe. If City and Chelsea were 5 points clear at the top at this stage he'd say it shows that it's a weak league because there's no competition at the top of the table. It's called an agenda. Anyway, through gritted teeth, congratualtions on a fantastic start. I might not enjoy it but it's for the good of the league if another side is able to compete at the top.
We should be doing what City did when well ahead at half time and that's go on to score seven, if we did that then I'd know we are on top form but everybody knows we are not. Luke, Fulham's hardly a measure is it and the goals dried up in the second half which is as I've said a lot not a good sign. Arsenal are doing extremely well and I don't think you'll bring them down a peg or two. Things must be fairly dire at Utd if you're overly happy at beating Fulham, I still see cracks in you. Liverpool didn't play as well as I expected them to at Arsenal especially as they were in second slot and as District said Chelsea weren't committed and lost to a team not playing that well. Often after a defeat as we all know teams go on bad runs. I thought Saints should have done better at Stoke the Joke after all it took their goalie to score which leaves us and Everton. North London against Scouseland again. Nothing to be said because I just don't know.
In comparison to most other leagues across Europe? No In comparison to previous Premier League seasons? Yes
It was an exaggeration, of course I know you're not saying that the leagues in Croatia, Belgium, etc are better The top sides aren't as strong in Europe but that's about it. I think the Premier League across the board is about as strong as ever.
Mourinho is angry and worried that Chelsea lost to Newcastle expecting to lose to a fantastic side and said that he shoud have chosen 11 completely different players. This man can be incredibly childish at times and saying things like changing 11 players will surely alienate the ones he chose. He's surely heading for a fall what with the punishment he picked up earlier this season. Careful Jose.
It seems that Bale's rediscovered his form. This is a picture of the full-back that started the game against him and was subbed off for his own good: please log in to view this image Yep, actually crying. Bale got 2 assists and Real won 3-2.
Arsenal fans were raving about Ozil's goal and assist record at Real yet Bale's 3 goals and 4 assists in 6 games despite being played out of position and playing through injury. Someday the doubters will accept that he's one of the best in the World.
TMT, I haven't made any comment about Utd's performance, just that we are only 3 points behind second, which includes all those teams who are apparently doing well, except Arsenal.
