"As long as its not like the last artificial pitch fiasco.....Young Boys!!" Given it will be group match 5, I suspect a quite 'low risk' squad will be travelling there. And of course those in the AVB penal unit (Adebayor etc) .
"CSKA's manager Leonid Slutsky"! Hope his mum never had to visit England. I can't imagine the amount of poor jokes that a Russian woman called Mrs Slutsky would have had to put up with.
"And of course, Walker" Assuming the group is done and dusted by then, I'll predict a starting lineup that includes : Brad Naughton Veljkovic Vlad Fryers Adebayor Plenty of opportunities for players to join the penal unit before then (perhaps Archer has joined the list this week) .
Based on the youngsters that have either been on the bench or featured in previous games, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if Kane, Fryers, and Coulthirst featured.
A Chelsea supporter that I know pointed me in the direction of this clip from Sky, where Abramovich's reign at Stamford Bridge is discussed: Most unbalanced panel ever?
Olly's got the tin tack. Understandable, he's not learnt from his mistakes with Blackpool and made a bit of a mess of things, transferwise. Ending up having to leave new signings out of your squad for the first half of the season really is unforgivable. Nice bloke though and gets his teams playing well. Not sure if anyone can turn them around though, they look very short on quality.
http://www1.skysports.com/news/12040/8913423/ I think there were a couple of others he signed in the summer that were left out too.
Their next three games are Arsenal (H), West Brom (A) and Everton (H). Can't see them getting too many points from that run of games, regardless of who's in charge.
Yes he did moan, you only recall half correctly! "Redknapp, who left captain Ledley King at home due to the pitch, revealed he had held a meeting with his unhappy squad about it on Monday night. He added: "I left four players out because they weren't comfortable on the pitch in training. "Aaron Lennon wasn't comfortable, Robbie (Keane) had a problem with his knee. Tom Huddlestone, last time he played on Astroturf, he was out for six weeks - his knee blew up like a balloon. "So I didn't really want to risk Tom. "It was a case that we were pretty desperate and I threw him on." Poor memories you lot! "
CSKA and Dinamo Moscow are both using that stadium, which used to be home of FC Khimiki until they were relegated from Russia's top flight, as both have new stadiums being erected - whilst they can't stage European games at the Luzhniki Stadium as often happens because that's being renovated for the 2018 World Cup. How many gaps in logic are in that previous sentence?
Get in Pullis, issue the defense with steel toed work boots and they'd get a point out of the goons, they don't like being kicked ****less.
