He's vicious enough with his teeth, don't release his claws too! <yikes>

  3. From what I understand, the clause in Goofy's contract imposes on 'Pool nothing more than an obligation to "consider" the bid and to inform Goofy of it. It doesn't appear to operate like a real break clause. It all seems a bit pointless, really.

I reckon Goofy was stitched up. Can't imagine he's going to be too happy about that, when it eventually dawns on him that he's going nowhere (literally).

Liverpool were stupid enough to agree to such a pathetic clause so I fail to see how Arsenal have done anything wrong? If they can now agree terms with Suarez then they just have a battle with the transfer fee to deal with.

I'm sure Suarez will be happy that Henry turned down a bid of £40,000,001 and acted like a douche about it, and certainly won;t publicly complain about this nor demand a move in response.

Of course, how childish does it sounds that you have to bid £40,000,001 in the first place? Reminds me of some playground arguments I had when I was, like, seven...

Pissing off Suarez so he'll hand in a transfer request, I think...

I've not seen any actual quotes. I figure if i'm gonna ignore all Bale rumours that don't have any actual evidence then i should do the same for the Suarez situation.
    Am i being too fair?

I can't believe that Whinger is dumb enough to believe he can change him....

Liverpool can't afford to sell to a Premiership rival, they'd lose too much face. They see themselves as serious challengers for honours. Selling to Arsenal would be to concede that they're not in the race...

  12. It will certainly be yet another indicator to the Mousers that their glory days are well and truly over, and that they are looked upon by the big clubs as little more than a breeding ground for half-decent talent, reading to be bought whenever the need arises. Let's face it, if Gerrard was ten years younger, no way would he stay at 'Pool.

Maybe Suarez isn't as good as everyone thinks he is if he needs 2 moves before eventually ending up in manchester?

Could Arsenal really bear the shame of having both Piers Morgan as a fan and Suarez as a player.

What next - Gary Glitter for manager?

They'll soon be trotting out the Liverpool lines of it being the media/Evra's fault that we've all been laughing at in the past. He's just misunderstood guys <ok>
