yeah they are, just because have a couple of forwards, who are untried in british football, does'nt mean you have a good team,a team's made up of 11 players not 4

So every side not in England is crap is what your saying? That makes no sense. WHat about their italian international keeper. Are italy crap too? Or their other international midfielders at swiss and uraguay?

If you really believe that other leagues top sides wouldnt even beat wolves then you are crazy. Then napoli side eliminated city remember.

This is what you said Totsfan:

that Napoli team would only be in the championship at best here, so that put's it in perspective

So championship at best? So thats lower level championship side then. Last time I watched a championship game one of the sides didnt have one of the best strikers on the planet (cavani) up front. Maybe I am wrong though.

Luke - Fergie throws it to concentrate on the league imo. City were well clear when you found yourselves in the comp and last round, so it was taken seriously. At the time it might have been the only chance of a trophy, but you now find yourself top of the PL. Priorities have changed.

The only relief for United in all of this is that they didn't have to face another humiliating defeat to Barcelona.

Mind you, it's pretty humiliating for them to be dumped out of the Thursday Night League, so early on!

Truly woeful.

How on earth we cannot beat them, I really do not know!

Beaten home and away by a technically good, hard working side who attacked them without fear and didn't compromise their own team philosophy.

United still have a psychological hold over a lot of clubs in this country, so people are afraid to go at them.
Now that Fletcher's out through his unfortunate condition, they don't even have a player in their midfield with much tackling ability and the likes of Giggs and Scholes can't match a high tempo for 90 minutes.
Despite their lofty league position, Ferguson must know that he's got some work to do in the summer.

City are 1-0 down now, too.
English clubs, including ours, have severely underperformed in Europe this season.

City don't want the extra games now they know United are out...coincidence?...not for me, gloves off for PL.

Not a sad face in sight after the whistle in the United game. <whistle>
