Ive not mentioned fellaini as someone wasnt happy I stated he's another likely signing yesterday. Likely based on Moyes knowing all about him. He'd certain add a bit of physicality to our midfield and negate Citys midfield somewhat. think Afroman wants to be a DM as well.
to be fair he starts a lot. Just not in his position which is why I think he wants out. No player wants to wait years for another to retire. By the time Xavi goes he'll be 27/28 at least.
So you'll have a good midfield if you bring two players into it and spend another £60m+? I think that's probably true of every team in the Premier League. City's Fernandinho, Toure, Silva, Navas and Nasri would appear to be better than what you've got and it doesn't add anyone that they don't already own.
Everytime I see it it gets funnier. massively overrated midfield. A player who played in the Ukraine..... wow. Hes definately going to be amazing in the PL................................................................................... Toure, cant be arsed. Who can blame him either. Navas, Silva and Nasri is basically one player who is god but like toure, isnt bothered an a winger who until recently used to **** himself when he left Spain. Nasri is a complete and utter ****ing joke of a player. I'd say he needs to be punched but I'm against animal cruelty. As you can probably tell, i dont rate Citys midfield. I dont really rate City and I'm glad they are starting to realise their level now that the best players are telling them and their money to **** off.
Yes thats why I said our midfield is pretty lackluster atm. Valencia is ****ing awful and If I saw you and you told me I rated young I would have to kill you dead. I like Anderson though, hes like a jolly fat kid who could of been decent but found a Greggs near his house.
This guy HAS to be a mouser out to ruin the rep of the man utd posters, this is just TOO funny/delusional. UIR - yes you could be 30,but it's clear you aren't. You certainly don't have the knowledge of a 30yr old unless you have only been following football a season or 2. How about this? If you wanna stick your nose so far up man Utd's bum crack that it makes you high on methane fumes then how about doing it on the utd board instead of invading ours with this cancerous utd bum licking. Why are you seeking validation on how good utd are on the spurs board anyway? You won't get it. I can only think that deep down you know your midfield/defence/keeper aren't the best in the league but perhaps if you can get some rival fans to butt kiss utd it will allay your fears. Good luck with that
Think you need to relax. You're getting all worked up over nothing. I'm simply giving an opinion just like the opinions given by your fellow spurs fans that United will decline. I don't know if you know but you're likely to struggle to find a United fan that wouldn't disagree. All I did was stumble across a few spurs fans discussing United. The fact you think I'm a Liverpool fan is hilarious.
I personally don't need any validation of how good Utd are from Spurs fans. We won the league at a canter. It doesn't have to come with a testimonial from other fans to be gratifying. And what is the point debating what teams are going to do over the course of next season in July? Utd will make signings, as other clubs are doing. Whether players signed by any club prove worthwhile does not depend on past performances, but on how they fare for their new club - and that is conjecture at this point. How players fit into a team has a bearing on not only their own performances, but those of others. And some players improve with experience anyway - for example, there were a lot of signs that Kagawa was becoming a much better player as last season progressed. A strong, ball winning midfielder will help a player like Kagawa be more influential. And players' form varies due to any number of factors - look at the contrasting contibutions of Silva, Hart & Kompany, for example over the last two seasons. So there is no point saying team A is stronger because they have players X, Y & Z on the assumption that they will play at the top of their form every week. In the case of those three, you would look foolish.
I'm sorry Lidls, but you seem to have completely missed the point, somehow. Nobody's claiming that Utd didn't deserve to win the league last season or that you weren't the best team. They're addressing a specific area of the team and Ferguson's ability to get the best out of his players. Surely even the most blinkered Utd fan can understand why there might be some questions over Moyes' ability to match his predecessor?
Especially when winning 'something' is the norm for United. Huge pressure on Moyes will develop even more if they don't get off to good start, and getting off to a good start has not always happened even at United. It remains to be seen if the board and Moyes can hold their nerve in the face of 2 or 3 losses.
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but intentionally or not the officiating at Man Utd games and the direct pressure from Fergie on refs has influenced the outcome of lots of Utd games over the years and there has been a tangible haul of extra points. You might find that now that expectation has gone, refs don't feel the pressure so much when they visit OT and make decisions based on the game, rather than the wrath of Fergie.
Nobody comes close to SAF. Nobody knows how Moyes will do either. All anyone knows is Moyes has inherited a squad that is the current Champions of England. Moyes' managerial history suggests hes the sort of manager who improves a side. Preston were in Division 2 when he joined, when h left for Everton they were in Division 1. He improved them and almost took them to the PL using the same squad he just got promoted with. This is a guy who gets the best out of his players. He then took over Everton, a side who had averaged 15th in the 6 seasons before and had been involved in a relegation battle or 2. Overall he averaged 8th ( 7 places higher than when he took over ) and 6th during his last 6 seasons. Two previous jobs, 2 significant improvements, two examples of getting the best out of his players. Hes now at United. Get the best out of the players here and what do you think happens?
I agree - I can't wait to see how Moyes gets on. I think the Old Trafford intimidation effect will be severely reduced now - teams won't be as cautious - this could have 2 effects - Man Utd respond and batter them to rebuild the stadium as a fortress or Man Utd fail to respond and get beat many more times at home than normal.
Covered this bullshit already. Seeing as Fergie is no longer a manager yet still involved with the club his influence would now have no limits. Nothing can stop him as all the FA had were touchline bans. Now they have nothing. So if the boring conspiracy stuff holds any weight, referees are in for a hell of a time. Hell Fergie could sit there holding banners up saying 'we lose you die' and theres **** all anyone can do......
With respect, I don't think refs will give a flying **** what Fergie from the backroom has to say anymore. He has lost his mouthpiece and with it, his influence on referees.
It's not so much the Old Trafford games I'm looking forward to seeing, it's the away games. At Everton, Moyes was able to get away with negatives tactics away from home against the better sides (which explains his 0/45 win record against the old Sky 4) as he could play the "We don't have the same resources as those sides" line, but that won't be the case at United as they will be expected to (play to) win wherever they go. United play their two biggest rivals away from home in the opening 6 games, Moyes cannot afford to lose either of those games. Does he stick or does he twist? Fascinating to see how he'll approach those type of games. I could be wrong but I see startling similarities to Roy Hodgson.
