Your grammar is far worse than HIAGs. So either you're much dimmer and you really do write these things on purpose... or you're far more cunning in your disguise and giving the impression you're a moron when you're actually just writing all of this with tongue firmly in cheek. Can't quite work it out yet.

This is why I don't understand the fans that want to be out of it straight away. At least we've got a chance, as we proved this year. Just like arsenal, we don't have a chance in the CL.

I would try and argue back... but that's true.

An early exit in the CL knockout stages is just as certain (if we get top 4) as our board promising money for big signings and us buying two 18 year olds for £0.5m each.

I can't see much of an upside being in the Europa league. More matches, playing on Thursdays, stretching our squad to the limits. Ok yes we have a chance of winning it but to progress as a club we will never hold onto our best players or attract the best players playing in it.

Qualify for CL, come 3rd in group an then go for EL. That is the best for whichever one gets 4th, like Chelsea have done this year. Bit of CL money and then a serious crack at winning something. Plus CL lure in window

I can't understand any of the sentiment on here that finishing 5th and entering the EL is actually better than finishing top 4 and entering the Champions League. So for some unknown reason, underachievement has become acceptable.

Money is the only reason. But we wouldn't spend it on the team anyway. We made it once and didn't strengthen when we had the chance to do so, and really push on.
So what's the point? Well, the music is pretty epic to be fair.

The Europa might have been the mickey mouse trophy for a long time, but I think opinion is starting to change. Its clubs like ours can't compete in the CL or for the prem title, so why not go for the Europa, Fa or CO cup?

Winning a trophy is nothing to be ashamed of! :)

Nobody has said it's better. I said I was fairly happy with it, not the same

don't bother much with grammer,i could if i could be arsed.

It is extremely hard to try and win the EL and qualify for the top 4 for a club like us. I would love us to win it and finally win something but I don't see us doing this and getting in the top 4. We have done bloody well to even get close to both this year.
If we do keep our best players in the close season and do get a decent striker then there is the potential we can compete for both again next season. I'm glad everyone is confident about hanging on to Bale. If we are in the same position next year I won't be confident at all.

Ok so why are you happy with that? Our chairman fires a manager who was reasonably well equipped with a good squad and got us top 4 twice. He replaces him with a manager who in my opinion has been under equipped and at the time of writing, looks like he may not finish 4th but is guaranteed at least 5th. More long journeys to far flung European cities for Thursday night games which in my view, have actually been the root cause of our failure to qualify for the CL and finish top 4.

Losing to Liverpool and Fulham in between the Inter Milan games ring any bells?

I really we don't think we have underachieved this season,it was alway's a big ask, losing a couple of top players, new manager etc,in fact we might have done the opposite,a couple of good signings and next season we will have a good chance
