Prisons full, but yeah a multimillionaire footballer will definitely go to prison for a driving offence <doh>

Are multimillionaires exempt prison now then? If you ignore court sentences, they tend to take a dim view of it.

Hope Man City enjoyed their free pass to the semi's.
Perhaps they will have to work in the next tie!

  15. Know what you mean DL - but unfortunately that's not how the legal system works. In order to 'protect' the rule of law, offences that attack the legal system will always receive disproportionate sentences for the original offences - Perjury is another good example.
I get both sides of the argument. One seems excessive, but on the other hand if you allow the rule of law to be abused then you will probably end up with anarchy. Well, that is what the establishment would have you believe.....

If Tevez doesn't like our rules then perhaps we should revoke his work permit. He could then go elsewhere to disregard the law.

If i went abroad and drove without the correct licence, that would make me a law breaking ****er.

If i then got banned but thought "ill drive anyway as chances are i wont get caught and im above the law" that make me an even bigger ****er.

And if i then got caught driving, escaped prison because prison is only for murderers and ****s then i would think " who cares, im still free lets go for a drive".....

during that drive i just happen to have an accident and run over a chelsea fans family member.

When that fan finds out i was allowed to escape anything more severe then a fine, that chelsea fan would say " this wouldnt have happened if that ****er was in prison"

.....As deedub says, if people dont want to play by our rules, they can live and work elsewhere.

    Behave DL.

Tevez is banned from driving for a series of offences, if he choses to flout the ban then he should be punished within the law. By ignoring his ban he's not accepting the punishement and there's no reason for him to correct what he did wrong. If anyone thinks that's unfair they can piss off to Clarksonia where the life expectancy is half because everyone's allowed to drive like a dick.

Anyway, rival watch.... Chelsea are rubbish :bandit:
