Are multimillionaires exempt prison now then? If you ignore court sentences, they tend to take a dim view of it.

Know what you mean DL - but unfortunately that's not how the legal system works. In order to 'protect' the rule of law, offences that attack the legal system will always receive disproportionate sentences for the original offences - Perjury is another good example.
I get both sides of the argument. One seems excessive, but on the other hand if you allow the rule of law to be abused then you will probably end up with anarchy. Well, that is what the establishment would have you believe.....

If Tevez doesn't like our rules then perhaps we should revoke his work permit. He could then go elsewhere to disregard the law.
