Well at least there wasn't a VAR delay and the home fans could safely celebrate their illegal goal.
Shocking decision, at least a yard offside. VAR needs an overhaul, but can't have games decided on terrible decisions like that one.
After seeing the Maguire goal last night , the cynical in me says let an outrageous goal stand so they can say what do you want , this or VAR ? Make your minds up , I say decent honest referees and linesmen would be a good start
I’d love to share your optimism that refs were actually competent but chose to be dishonest, when the reality is that the issue is lack of competence.
It will be given as OG I suspect but that takes nothing away from the vision and technique.
