Guardiola should be looking at himself for this scoreline, despite Michael Oliver's inadequacies.
Kovacic is a good player but he's not a like-for-like change with Rodri. Lost control of the midfield and let them back in it.

Problem is, who is?

Kalvin Phillips! <laugh>
If they don't have a like-for-like replacement in a role that's key to how they play, then that's on the manager.
He's got endless resources and can basically buy whoever he wants.

To be fair the Kalvin Phillips of the last 12 or so months replacing probably the best DM in world football right now would be somewhat similar to us having to play Werner if Son got injured.

Won’t be pretty for either team, lol.

I hate the fact they’re so good at defending now.

City just have no idea how to break this down. All Pep’s done so far is get his CBs trying to score long rangers. Should’ve subbed off a defender at HT.

And to add what’s worse, if we were in Arsenal’s position right now, we’d have still been playing a high line like we did vs Chelsea and probably been 6-2 down by now.

I'm sure that we'll hear pundits say the Mansourites need a set piece coach soon enough...

Vicario agrees

City haven’t conceded nearly as many as Spurs have from set pieces though. Vicario would do well to fix that issue instead of talking on social media.
