They don't look amazing defensively. Certainly a few notches below what they were like when they won the league.

Santos got relegated last night for the first time in their history.

Seems to be a season for big clubs to struggle as Lyon are bottom of Ligue 1 and Ajax were at one point bottom of the Eredivisie albeit have since gone on a good run.

The Brazilian top flight has 20 teams.
4 were relegated and 14 qualify for their equivalent of Europe.
Only Vasco de Gama and Bahia did neither.
The latter finished 1 point off relegation and 3 from qualifying for the Copa Sudamericana.

Guardiola did his usual "Aren't I smart?" bullshit and it blew up in his face, again.

What the **** is that supposed to be? 4 centre-halves, two right-backs and 0 midfielders.

Where's the outrage about poor officials now, then? Not a peep from the media, as usual.

Bruno Fernandes plays yet another game for Utd, putting him miles ahead of everyone else.
He's now managed 5,748 minutes in 66 appearances this year.
No other player in Europe's top divisions has got within 500 minutes of that.
 
Mick Jones Steve Cooper appears to be the next PL manager for the chop. Yet he has done well with Forest, although their transfer policy since promotion has been very questionable. It never works when clubs ship huge amounts of players in and out on a short space of time, especially when there is no evidence of the incoming players being much of an upgrade. I’m not sure that any the blame for that rests with Cooper though, tbh. He succeeded when he had to work with the players he acquired plus a number of well chosen loanees.
 
Seeing so many rediculous priced footballers today that can just about tie their boot laces(?) reminds me of that story of the northern clubs that used to call down the local coal mine for a center forward or whatever. They tell me those mines are closed now...........!

The Forest fans are still 100% behind him and rightly so, very good manager but as you’ve said the club’s letting him down.

At the final whistle yesterday, there’s a few phone videos showing fans telling the players to **** off whilst they applaud Cooper <laugh>

Maguire has been good in the games I have seen. Ten Hag? Perhaps he's managing an off licence on the side. <laugh> Record sales of non alcoholic Rum or is that Rum sales of anemic football.
