He’s a decent coach, but the pairing with Chelsea was never gonna work.
Realistically the Los Ladrones job is likely the main issue for us (and, you know, every other top flight club in Western Europe...) given Poch is definitely not committing to anyone to keep himself in the frame, and it's likely Nagelsmann has an eye on it toolet’s see if that was just an excuse not to join us.
About the only manager we've been linked with who might not be angling for the job is Luis Enrique, not just because he managed Barca but for the heinous crime of leaving Los Ladrones for Barca and winning twice the number of pots with them than he did for FC Franco
As a side note, Zidane is reportedly looking for the right job, which is worth noting because it wouldn't surprise me if PSG went for him in the summer

I was hoping United would help keep us 4th. But,naturally,they did a Spurs and Darren Bent couldn't score.But,what the heck, Newcastle and their manager deserve it so good luck to them. Funny now looking at the league positions.....Newcastle 50 points,M.U. 50 points,Spurs 49 points......after all our screw ups we are still close,maybe not after Monday!!!!?

I have to admit I have severe reservations about him now. The issues that plagued him at Brighton (i.e. scoring goals) persisted at a club with an unlimited budget. Which tells me either he hasn't got the minerals to stand up to an incompetent owner and overrule him on transfer strategy, or that he is an awful squad builder but an excellent coach who relied on the talent-spotters at Brighton (who are still there and still doing an excellent job) to service him with a balanced squad.
Either way, those are two recipes for disaster here so a strong 'wid' barely 18 months ago has swung to a strong 'widnae' from me.
I suppose you could say Fulham were taken to task over their behaviour. But of course we know who they were playing (and had already had a certain penalty not given for them), plus of course we know Fernandes also "handled" an official a few days before (though admittedly it was rather minor). Nevertheless, if Fernandes had been punished, perhaps the Fulham incident may not have happened? We will never know. But we do know that the authorities take care about which teams they punish.
I’m not convinced his teams create enough of the right kind of chances. At Brighton it might have been player quality but at Chelsea he has a bigger and deeper squad. No elite striker but still surprising they’ve had so much trouble scoring.
