Barry's off. Chance for Liverpool to snatch a point? I hope so.

every cloud and all that...with city winning 3 nil we could not close the gap on top spot..however i think Liverpool are fast fading as one of our rivals and we have managed to get some breathing space between us and our rivals below us...this just means that we will have to get level with City by beating them at their ground in a few weeks..will be at that match with my gf who is a city fan...i have noticed shes become a bit of a gobby cow since last year for some reason!!

When do players leave for the ACON? That is when Newcastle are going to struggle, without Ba and Tiote. Let's hope they are both still available tonight.

the tournament kicks off on the 21st of january....so i presume they are here for a weekor so yet which would give them 2 weeks to train with their national teams

Think I read somewhere that they have an agreement with Ivory Coast that he doesn't have to go for the 2 weeks prior to the tournament, he'll just go straight into the matches so they'll have him an extra 2 league games this month probably.

They need a couple of goals just to cancel out another typical Webb performance.

The general consensus seems to be this:
    "Penalty, you bald ****!"
That's going by the Newcastle board, anyway.

I suppose that makes up for the dodgy one that they got in the reverse fixture, in a way, but you have to ask why Webb's still allowed to take charge of Man Utd games.
