I couldn't see us losing to West Ham either but playing us and to a slightly lesser extent Spurs is their cup final. The thing about them and Millwall is a myth, its only their boneheads that detest Millwall or the ones with grandfathers that used to work on the docks, a lot of them bay for Chelsea and/or Spurs most. I'm not saying you'll lose but an away game against West Ham under the lights on a Monday Night is no easy game, make no mistake about it.
I'd have Rodgers anyday PNP. I really think he's done a good job, as has been said he was dealt a poor hand and the poor form of Reina, Agger and Skrtel who in previous seasons were reliable. Rodgers has got Liverpool playing football and if they back him financially I think they'll get top 4 next season or be knocking on the door at least. If Benitez went to Liverpool they'd be scrapping it out with Villa and Reading
District,we've taken 6 points off of them season after season after season. We are playing well whereas they lost to Villa. You are inconsistent to say the least and it looks like our day is beginning. I think we'll win it.
If it's their cup final, why have they been running full page ads in Metro and the Standard since last week to try and get people to turn up?
To be fair, they haven't resorted to discounting tickets or plastering pictures of Russel Brand all over their ads for this game. If that doesn't indicate a rivalry, I don't know what does
We were desperately trying to keep them up in order to preserve our usual 6 points and it would also mean they had to buy Keane from us for £6mill
Was that the one where Carvalho hacked him down really blatantly and the Webb totally bottled it, as usual?
Nah that was the season before. I was right behind that, couidn't believe Webb didn't give it More than made up for it v Man U last season though
I can just see Big Sam in the Hammers dressing room on his knees begging "you boys" to take no Spurs prisoners, can't you? "I need the money for food!" Well, you never know......!

Celtic Park looks a proper football ground tonight. Not an executive box in site and a real atmosphere created by genuine fans. Looking forward to watching this one.
