Plus Nocerino was actually bought as back-up for Gattuso, so that's definitely not an improvement from last year's team.

I know that Wenger often sees what he wants to see, but I have no idea what game he watched to make that comment.
We were definitely the better side in Milan for virtually all of the game, though our goal did come when AC were in the ascendancy.
The way that they lost their cool and started getting physical was a clear testament to that.
