Anyone else reading the wooden spooners match day thread? All really is doom and gloom - oh, today is a great day indeed.
I'm in such a good mood! Looks like it would take a really, really good team to beat AC Milan at the San Siro...
Just had a quick look myself, Ensil. I think somebody ought to call The Samaritans and report a few hundred potential suicides
WHY would anyone do that?!? I had to go to Sky's website to check the teams and scorers for Zenit/Benfica (and Schalke/Barca yesterday) as the BBC has decided nobody is interested in non-English teams playing in Europe. Again, I want my £145.50 back.
Wait, the bloke has an iPad, it's utterly deserved. What, nobody else been used as a crash mat on the Underground by somebody reading their Apple-branded tat keeping both hands on it, even when the train brakes suddenly?
They didn't seem too suicidal to me, they seem to be getting used to it. Waking up and smelling the coffee. Piskie agreeing with Jamrag???!!!!!???
I have to say they are so down, I have no temptation to add to their misery. They couldn't get any lower!
After this evenings embarrassing capitulation AFC have decided to replace their emblem with a newly commissioned one that befits their current status:
I haven't seen Brits abroad getting murdered like that since one of my neighbours went to Perugia a few years ago. Yes, she did live down the road for me and, yes, Amanda Knox did it.
Just for the sake of clarity, this is the side that started the game tonight. Abbiati, Mexes, Thiago Silva, van Bommel, Seedorf, Abate, Nocerino, Boateng, Antonini, Ibrahimovic, Robinho. The players in bold started against us at the San Siro last season.
Plus Nocerino was actually bought as back-up for Gattuso, so that's definitely not an improvement from last year's team.
Wenger after watching the Milan v Spurs game said he wouldn't play like us(on the break).Well he got that bit right(that's all he got right)
I know that Wenger often sees what he wants to see, but I have no idea what game he watched to make that comment. We were definitely the better side in Milan for virtually all of the game, though our goal did come when AC were in the ascendancy. The way that they lost their cool and started getting physical was a clear testament to that.
