If Arsenal agreed to this they are crazy. Not only have they wrecked their chances of a cup final but potentially screwed themselves for NLD. I'm not surprised though, Liverpool and United unfortunately play to a different textbook to the rest of us and I suspect Sky would have pressured EFL to make sure the game goes ahead whilst on the other end of the rope Liverpool would have threatened a forfeit if it went ahead today as planned. Liverpool would for sure have used the situation to their advantage.

For a premier league game I would agree but Orient were in the same position as you last season and were forced to concede they game...looks like one rule for a lower league club and another for a big club cos it is not consistent.

I said that seriously and hr regularly puts out weaker teams than many of us would like .Like all managers he will want to win every match but the LC sure as hell isn't one of his main priorities .
We were due to play them on the 22nd of September and the next round was a week later. They were forced to forfeit on the 25th. That's a really tight schedule.
