Given he's already got six Poland caps, he's surely eligible for a work permit anyway

It's worth pointing out he isn't the only Brighton player on loan there, as Kaoru Mitoma was immediately sent there after signing from Kawasaki Frontale last summer, so it does appear that Brighton are using Union as a finishing school

    How come?
They have the second leg plus an fa cup game before the NLD and it is only a one game ban cos it was 2 yellows?

That decision was made because there was no space in the schedule for the match to be rearranged before the next round due to our European commitments so the circumstances were somewhat different.

Neither team has a match in the midweek between the 16th and 23rd.
There's also a big gap after that weekend.
Rennes just refused to play and UEFA are ****.

If Arsenal agreed to this they are crazy. Not only have they wrecked their chances of a cup final but potentially screwed themselves for NLD.

I'm not surprised though, Liverpool and United unfortunately play to a different textbook to the rest of us and I suspect Sky would have pressured EFL to make sure the game goes ahead whilst on the other end of the rope Liverpool would have threatened a forfeit if it went ahead today as planned. Liverpool would for sure have used the situation to their advantage.

absolute nonsense as we would have preferred to play but with injuries , Covid and ACON we haven't enough players the main rumour being all 3 GK's are out .

For a premier league game I would agree but Orient were in the same position as you last season and were forced to concede they game...looks like one rule for a lower league club and another for a big club cos it is not consistent.

the rule is you forfeit if a fresh date can't be agreed and one could and has . Really don't understand all the fume tbh as we all expect to lose unless Arsenal have a big covid outbreak themselves particularly as Klopp never takes the domestic cups that seriously ,

Didn't Orient have to forfeit because they couldn't rearrange it before the next round?
I can't stand Liverpool, but they're not in the same position.

If he is not taking it seriously, why did he want to postpone the game?

I said that seriously and hr regularly puts out weaker teams than many of us would like .Like all managers he will want to win every match but the LC sure as hell isn't one of his main priorities .

If it pisses Arsenal off then it was the correct call anyway.

We were due to play them on the 22nd of September and the next round was a week later.
They were forced to forfeit on the 25th. That's a really tight schedule.
