I mean there's far more laughable things in that clip, for example Dorking wearing a facsimile of Atletico Madrid's kit
What a belter. He's definitely been watching and studying some Juninho Pernambucano compilations on YouTube.
It's because he's good and he's at Spurs, so snide ****s like Neville try to get in little jabs, like he did yesterday. "Some people won't like that..." **** off, you Valencia flop.
He started well, but he's not been the same since his utter failure at Valencia. His schtick with Carragher's entertaining enough, but the two of them can't help pushing their club agendas on everyone.
It's been a thing for English fans/ media for a while to be honest, the best player(s) often seems to come in for the most criticism. Rooney was no different, Beckham had his haters, Sterling is always vilified in the media, I doubt it'll stop.
I didn’t realise anyone did dislike Kane - or had reason to. He doesn’t have the kind of personality that provokes a reaction. He’s like Shearer I’m so many ways - very proficient, but dull.
A few years ago, I had started to realise that I liked going to the match but hated watching us on tv, other than in a pub, so I started watching without the sound on. I have no hesitation in recommending it...and not watching the build up...or the post-match bollocks. It's much more like being there, especially if you spend the time pre and post-match having a beer. As I'm also going deaf at a fair rate, it's good practice for later in life...an all round win.
Ditto....hate listening to Hoddle, Tyler, Smith, Macmananananananananananaman etc. chatting rubbish while trying to watch how turgid we are. After listen to the utter rubbish spouted on Thursday..."no one saw this happening"....ffs only had to read this board to see the bollocks in that statement I watched yesterday's match on my tablet with no sound...made the experience less painful
Shearer was a dirty ****er who got away with it for years And then he stopped getting away with it, and by complete coincidence this was after he retired from international football
I saw a clip on Twitter of one of the hosts (not Neville, can't remember who) slagging him off for celebrating like he won the World Cup from a tap-in Apart from the obvious facts that it was his first PL goal, scored the day before his birthday, and his celebration is a tribute to his mother, the obvious question is when did Sky decide celebrations were dependant on distance scored from?
Yesterdays commentary was a classic from the whistle, Villa did not have a shot on target and a goal down at half time but it was our defence and midfield that was a mess( true to a point) but they had a script and were sticking to it , come Kanes penalty despite the fact that he was fouled in the box it was a naughty but a smart move, nothing was said about our second half display just how much villa missed Grealish, all in all I am confident that sky have it in for us
"I can't really see at the moment how Spurs are going to get the ball through midfield." Gary Neville about 10 seconds before we scored the opener.
