Surely they are legal if you have the space to do it safely. In this example, I don't see what else the defender is going to do and is just protecting himself. Definite foul for dangerous play and no penalty.
i came to the conclusion some time ago that refs are just using the football equivalent of "owzat" to make their decisions as nothing else makes sense .

Half the time they just seem to think, "Have I done anything controversial that will get my name in the papers, yet?", then do something ludicrous.
The refs ****ing up split second decisions was understandable, to a point. The VAR twats making the same mistakes with endless replays are not.

Even if true at least when we were at our peak we managed to actually win unlike yourselves who went all Spursy at the sight of possible success .

True, but the year of success will be just that, a single year. Yet just a few months ago, the twats at Sky and BT were talking about a dynasty and how this was one of the greatest club sides ever seen.

I feel rather smug as i remember pointing out that the VAR officials will be the same loons who **** up week after week so why do people expect them to start getting it right though tbf they have managed to exceed even my "expectations" in that regard <laugh>.

err 2 years if you don't mind .
i know you have tried to wipe it from your memories but we won numero six last year and i'm fairly certain that counts as success .

I thought that they'd continue to be ****, but I don't think that it's possible to be as bad as they have been purely through incompetence.
Nobody looked at the replay of that Fernandes penalty against Villa and thought it was the correct decision, did they?
How do two Premier League officials manage it, then?

Alright I will give you the benefit of the doubt. BLM is a movement addressing the fact that (seemingly) to some people/institutions Black Lives do not matter at the moment. People who don't think that is important often come back with All Lives Matter - which of course is true, but it is a phrase used by racists who want to demean the BLM movement. Another more evil strain will shout White Lives Matter (which in literal terms is also true) but that is the call of KKK and the like. All I am saying is that context is important here.

My church has been preaching this fact that all lives matter, forever.I go along with it.

Even then you had to rely on gifts raining down from the officials. The last 2 seasons there has been a clear mandate in place to ensure Pool win their entitlement, only last season City were just too good. It has been clear for all to see that once it became apparent Pool were going to win the PL*, the way their games are officiated has changed drastically.

Is that you can't or won't see what is happening here. And take responsibility for your views, your church cannot tell you how to think. PS put it well below
Why do you find it necessary to say this?
If you saw a charity appealing to save the snow leopard would you respond 'all cats matter'. The latter would be true but irrelevant since not all cats are at risk

Seems as though the conversation has moved on from some black guy making a remark about favouritism towards another person based on his white skin...which was a racist remark

What else’s was it?

To my knowledge players don’t get targeted by officials due to the colour of their skin.

Black Lives Matter but that doesn’t give them the right to talk **** without it being pulled up.

Apart from anyone that works on Sunday, Egyptian firstborn children, Midianites, a woman who looked at a city and disobedient children.
And mediums, those that worship other gods, witches, blasphemers, adulterers, gay people, people that shag animals and the animals that they shag.
Women that might not be virgins on their wedding night, rape victims who don't cry out, apostates... it's quite a list.

some black guy making a remark about favouritism towards another person based on his white skin...which was a racist remark - It is an accusation of racism. Regardless of that, it was stupid and wrong, but I cannot see that he is being racist himself, just wrongly saying the officials are racist

What else’s was it? - Stupidity, no more no less

To my knowledge players don’t get targeted by officials due to the colour of their skin. I have no reason to think that either and I am not saying it is the case

Black Lives Matter but that doesn’t give them the right to talk **** without it being pulled up. - No argument. Not aware of anyone suggesting it is.

This is completely separate from what you replied to, that was a poster spouting racist slogans without (I hope) understanding that he is doing so. That is nothing to do with Troopz and his idiot views.

All racist remarks are stupid and thoughtless...why buffer it because it was a black guy? It might be an accusation but it’s an accusation based on his own prejudice and opinions and he said it without batting an eye lid because he is allowed to and it stems from somewhere deep inside himself. I’d like to see the proof of his convictions but there is none...so why say it? An insecure black man...there you go...we won’t call him racist but he did a great job of blending it.

My initial response to you was regarding Troopz also.

Pretty much everybody does in principle. But to say it in response to 'Black Lives Matter' isn't neutral as the reason that phraseology exists is because a lot of society acts like they don't. So by saying all lives matter in response you are effectively saying that you don't care about racial discrimination. Just like saying all cats matter in response to the snow leopard appeal would imply that you don't care about the snow leopard.
