Yeah I think we can definitely predict that sort of discussion took place before he took charge. So whether we do or don't sign anyone, it'll be because Jose said so I'd imagine. He did say in his first interview how much he liked this squad so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a quiet January, even though I'm personally hoping for a couple of defensive additions.

Yeah that's my thinking too, he's not a yes man and we've seen before he loves a moan if he don't get his way, so if nothing's done in January and he's happy, it's because he said so.

Did anyone see cancelo kick out the other night when they played oxford?
Tramp kicked some kid as he runs past, the kid kicks him back and he goes down like hes been shot?

Also saw a clip from their amazon documentary the otherday with arteta telling the city midfielders during a game at half time to foul the opposition during transitions<laugh>
I did post the vids somewhere but cant remember where now<laugh>

I think that the Arteta thing was from their Amazon documentary, which also had something about dives.

Im surprised more hasnt been made of the cancelo thing tbh, he kicks the fella 1st then after gettng a kick back drops like hes just died and rolls around in agony... thats not your typical simulation for me, im very much meh about players diving in the box when contact is made because i see that many time as a defender at fault.. but cancelos actively trying to get a player sent off for me there and should be severely punished for it, and im really not saying that just cos its a city player.

Its sneaky and sly, dont like it.

It's an extremely cynical dive and he's done it in a game without VAR, as he knows it won't be checked.
Should get a ban, but he won't.
