Martin Jol thinks his team are suffering from Fatigue, and that's the reason for there bad results, good job they aren't in the E/L then!,this season

I didn't see the match but it doesn't say much for Arsenal's forwards if they have to score from the spot.

Chelsea were walking a thin line today. I posted the other day that Chelsea had to win this match because losing at a ground where they normally get a result would have been a disaster for them. Benitez said it was a must win match too probably for the same reason.

WBA don't look as dangerous now but Swansea do even though they lost. COYS get a good result tomorrow.

That was an awful dive, especially when you consider what Bale got 2 bookings for last week. Should've had a penalty at the other end for handball too, although there might have been an offside, not sure what the lino flagged for.

TMT would be crying if Chelsea had been on the receiving end of Arsenal's luck and decisions today.

Scary stuff but Mike Jones is an inept ref to be fair.

Saw it on MOTD - clear dive. However, you can see how the Ref was fooled, given his position. It's a pity something can't be done retroactively about this kind of blatant cheating

Yeah, the ref for the Stoke game was scarily bad though. Don't think he'll be getting another chance in the Premier League any time soon <laugh>

The FA can't take retrospective action because that would undermine the ref giving a pen! By their own rules anyway - and of course they'll only break them when it suits. Just highlights the hypocrisy of it all though, on one hand condemning diving and on the other doing absolutely nothing when a clear dive is seen. If they were serious it would be a retrospective three match ban. At least - you could argue the dive changed the result of a game. And before I get accused of hypocrisy I don't condone Bale diving either - I'd be embarrassed if we won like that.

Too right it was shocking. That was Cazorlas standing leg that got taken out. Should have been a red!

Good one! Hang on... you aren't being serious are you?

It's a hell of a trick to have a standing leg "taken out" but then not fall over until a split second after! Let's put it this way. If Bale had won a penalty by diving like that (which actually he hasn't), I would not be on the Gunners board defending him!

City have probably had more of he possession, but Utd have looked far more dangerous on the counter attack. City's woeful defending isn't helping them.
