It isn't too late to turn things around with 7 matches to play. Chelsea won lucky and Utd won ugly but were listless. The form of neither team is that good and Arsenal face a tricky match against Newcastle, no means a foregone. We showed that we had the beating of mighty Liverpool on their own patch and after some mediocre performances we can take heart from that.

Now, losing to City isn't a foregone either but what we MUST do is sort out the two halves. It's happened a number of times this season that we've had polarising halves, good in the first and bad in the second and vice versa. I think, like Lloris, that we'll return to winning ways on Wednesday.

Ramsey scores the opener. Newcastle can't string two passes together. The pain of seeing them moving above us after so many months, nay: years, is real.

I am gonna make myself unpopular with some but the difference between Ramsey's commitment snd Erikson's is like chalk and cheese. Ramsey is fully committed (even though he is leaving) whereas Eriksen looks like (and has done for a while) a shadow of his former self.

And I'm supposed to relax and enjoy the ride...it feels like a ride in which I've just offered a serial killer with a bag full of knives, a lift home.

Oh ffs

I think most have noticed Eriksen's attitude...I'll miss reminiscing about our dead ball specialist scoring from a free kick in 2015

I always chuckle when a commentator goes 'oh that's failed to clear the first man, and that's uncharacteristic of Eriksen - he's usually so deadly in those situations'. Just shows they haven't watched us at all in 3 years.

Newcastle will always do what they've always done apart from a purple patch under Joe Harvey and Gordon Lee, that is struggle whoever is at the helm.
