Apparently Verratti is a bit of a party boy, likes to be out until 6am and smokes and drinks, the whole lot. That, plus the fact he was barely fit, makes his performance last night seriously impressive. He and his partner in midfield completely shut down Pogba and dealt with the United press like it was a mildly annoying breeze. If he had the mindset of someone like Ronaldo, he would surely be considered one of the best midfielders in the world right now. Not to mention be paying huge fines for tax evasion
Impressive? Makes him a kunt in my book, why knock 6 or 7 years of your career, (see Jack Wheelchair). Plenty of time for partying when you retire and have a stack in the bank.

Now Harry Kane, he is impressive.

Maybe I didn’t get that across quite right...I mean the one-off performance is impressive, all things considered. I agree that anyone blessed with that level of ability as a footballer should be living a much ‘cleaner’ life! Otherwise it’s ultimately a career that has to have an element of wasted potential, which so many people would give to much to have a chance to have and give it their all.

I’d say he already is mate. Absolute class player. Often the heartbeat of that PSG side like how Modric used to be for us/ is for Real.

Ian Wright has backtracked twice now with his opinions of Spurs. He tweeted something then quickly deleted it and has risked angering Arsenal supporters by praising us. He posted a picture of Leonardo di Caprio applauding with "Spurs" written underneath it. He's also backtracked since our little blip in the domestic cups. There was an "I told you so" statement from him which has also been taken back.
