Solskjaer needed bringing back down to earth after his "We are Manchester United" chest-puffing. The question is which Man Utd player will bring themselves down to earth in Burnley's penalty area to prevent that happening?

I always hated Pepe Le Pew...

And don't get me started about taking Mitrovic out of my fantasy team

There was big pressure on them tonight. They didn’t cope with it at all well.

If City relinquish the title to Liverpool, surely huge pressure has to be on Guardiola (unless he miraculously wins the Champions League, which I don't think he will)?

In the three years he's been at Man City, with unlimited funds and beyond, having an entire Gulf state subsidising him, and a squad ram packed with quality, he could potentially have just a solitary league title to his name.

And yeah they may win the League Cup again, but that's not the type of glory they want.

For all the plaudits he got for his time at Barcelona, he's done an average job at both Bayern Munich and Man City. Particularly when you factor in the enormous resource advantages those clubs have over all the other sides in their respective leagues.

If you say that on the premier board you get accused of being bitter...Pep is God and you are a very naughty boy !

This is why I often say it's too hard to tell who truly are the best managers in world football. Pep and Jose have the most glamorous of CVs but their success is fabricated on the basis of only ever managing the best clubs during a certain period. Although I can never prove it so I'll admit it's not a valid point but I'd be relatively confident that if say someone like Eddie Howe was given the opportunity to manage Barca/ Bayern/ Real etc, he'd likely win just as much as the others.

Well I haven't seen the incident but it appears someone did! Was it a legitimate penalty? By which I mean would it have been given to every team, even if they were playing Liverpool?

Come on, you have to have at least 3 bullet holes or have your head severed by a chain saw to get a penalty against Liverpool.
