Someone should ask Sarri if Chelsea are going to be in the race for Top 4? There's going to be only one answer when Hazard ****s off.....................

I wonder how selling the club to the Americans is going?

That is frighteningly bad, talk about overspending on average talent. What’s made it worse, is the record signing of that £340m is a Spurs reject (albeit a well liked one).

Digne has looked good value so far at £18m, while I’d say Richarlison has probably been a decent investment seeing as he’s bagged 9 or 10 goals already and still has plenty of time to improve. Everyone else has either been a dreadful buy or not worth the money paid.

You’ve put West Ham and big club in the same paragraph.

    Silly billy.

I think the Man U manager has got lucky with 4 reasonably easy games. I'll reserve judgement until United play someone....good!

Not lucky. I think Utd picked the right time to sack Mourinho.

That is our next mental test...are we going to get done by another team who are 'up for it' even though we are the better team?

Another chance to make a statement...gulp

We never make things easy. Watch us let united close the gap and allow them back into the race for top 4. You know it’s coming!

There’s been a focus on the City v Liverpool game on BBC news this morning. Emphasis on how Pep thinks Liverpool are the best team in Europe, and how Klopp apparently thinks the same thing about City. Every outcome has been discussed by the presenters, from how it should be an amazing game, to how it could also be a 0-0 draw like the game in October.
How City can close the gap or be 10 points behind. Etc etc.

Despite having a visual of the league table on screen, and a lengthy chat by the presenters, not one of them mentioned Spurs, sat in second place between the two teams. Whilst I’m first to admit that I don’t consider us as part of the title race, for so called professional journalists to literally ignore that the second placed team even exists is just totally laughable. Whether, like mine, their personal opinions are that we’re not contenders, their 3-5 minute pre match feature (which they’ve done their best to make look unbiased) is very ironic.

Never mind not being contenders, we don’t even exist, apparently! <laugh>

It's the same on talk ****e hardly a mention of spurs, if it was arsenal Chelsea or manure in 2nd they would say it's a 3 horse race as you say it's laughable and disrespectful. Personally I think we have a chance to win it we are up there on merit haven't played a home game for ages and our away record is amazing, probably suits us to be under the radar so to speak and I'm sure that's how poch would want it.

  18. We only exist again when or if we slip up in a game........ :emoticon-0148-yes:

For me, we are massively over-performing this season, so I certainly have no title expectations and would much rather be completely off all radars. Let the BBC use up all their tissues on Citeh & ‘Pool.

However, if the lads can win a couple of CL and other cup games and somehow keep in touching distance in the PL until late March/early April, when we will be well ensconced in our fantastic new home, then the last few weeks of the season will be the most exciting of roller coaster rides no matter what the outcome.

Talkshite is worse! They just spout utter crap to get spurs fans to phone in. And some fans are stupid enough to give them what they’re looking for.

The end of the season will certainly be interesting, especially if we get into the new stadium with a run of actual home games.
However, I just think we lack that quality in depth to actually be genuine contenders. We’ll be there or thereabouts like we have for the last few seasons, but I expect us to be noticeably behind City and Liverpool come match 38.

A quality cm could change that and push us to the next level but for whatever reason we missed the chance to do that in the summer, imagine if we signed a van Der vaart or modric type player then that Could have made the difference who knows , whatever happens it's been a massive effort from the players staff and fans so let's just enjoy the ride COYS
