Perhaps the Home Office is looking at the Chelsky squad
and querying whether it constitutes proof of being a
sound (of mind) "investor" (hence his investor visa being
delayed) .

It would seem that there is "some delay" with Comrade Abramovic's UK visa....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-44190067

That's gonna cost a few bob to sort out, or maybe it's time to relocate?
Oh, how quickly the euphoria of an FAC triumph will fade in the eyes of the Chav fans, as they see their owner and benefactors departure loom suddenly large in their limited fields of vision! <laugh>

From a political standpoint, whether Abramovic's visa gets renewed (or how long it takes) will be an accurate assessment of how serious the Government are in the fight against the Kremlins adverse international influence - and conversely indicate how closely connected individuals within the British Government and Putin's establishment really are.....

By complete coincidence it's being reported that the Home Office's HQ is about to have a hot tub installed on ever floor, while Sajid Javid has been shopping for gold-plated toilet seats...

Yesterday was terrible from start to finish.
Absolute dross.
We're just not used to seeing a performance like that - so different to what we've had in the past.

Anyway, enough about the Royal Wedding :emoticon-0136-giggl

It was more like nuptials, with the angry Portuguese bloke playing the part of Prince Harry and United's supporters playing the part of Megan Sparkle.....

"Bend over, I think I can go again..."

Hmm, I wonder which poster is going to pop over here to state otherwise...

They're a strange lot, those Man Utd supporters.

Their club this season has a net transfer spend of
136m more than Spurs (in addition to their huge
wage bill) , and by comparison

- finished only 4 pts ahead in the PL

- had one win more in the FA Cup

- did worse in the CL group stages, and no
better in the KO stage

and yet they feel compelled to claim some great
success, or attempt to mock Spurs 2017-18 season ...

'They' have appointed Unai Emery to replace Wenger. Managing at Sevilla and PSG make him hard to evaluate. He was never going to win the league at one and had it bought for him at the other.

Won a lot of EL's when nobody else any good gave a ****......and beat Klopp in a final [again].

Should be interesting. What happened to Arteta? Did he turn them down?

Arteta wanted assurances that he'd be involved in transfers, both incoming and outgoing.

Ah, the Harry Redknapp clause.

I've gotta say that he's got his work cut out for him. Defensively, they must have the least hard working group of players ever assembled. Even their deep lying midfielders can't tackle and don't care.

Being the first up after a long serving manager is usually a recipe for disaster. I wonder how long he'll last? If they've only got £50m to spend and are giving 'The Wheelchair' a long-term contract, it's unlikely to be too long.
